I totally get why people stick with this ending. There's no *perfect* ending... but damn I couldn't pick it. Verso ending for me. Maelle IS going to fall into the fantasy and it's just a way for her to die and run from grief. All built atop the suffering of Verso, her birth family, and a kid's soul.

Weirdly that's what I love about the endings. You can see the potential for a better world where everyone is happier at multiple points, but the characters make decisions that undercut that possibility in a fascinating human way. Everyone has become so flawed by grief, they often undercut healing.

For me I get why some feel KH can be tough to understand. It's a long running series, continuous narrative, It's very emotion and metaphor driven, translation work, the story telling philosophy has changed over years, so on. Development wise, it just has a lot of moving parts and hands on the wheel.

Absolutely beautiful. Thank you for opening your heart to the world, no matter the effort or fear it may or may not have taken. I want to hold onto those lines, "I want to keep trying to connect anyway... I don't want to hide anymore." For as long as long as I'm able.

The clear enthusiasm in finding and showing game information and wanting to pass it along. Reading about discoveries ya'll made helps me appreciate what Bungie's thought process could be in designing game systems, and it goes to show the passion of this community.

I doubt anyone thought ill of you. It's been clear you've been going through the rough of it, and I for one hope things will get better for you. If not better, than at least calmer to give a chance to breathe.

The number 1 thing I learned in navigating major depression and traumas that undermined my adult life? We need each other. And so any discussion that throws out solidarity, discounting groups that could use some aid, to me is counterproductive. Nothing gets done or better if not done in good faith.

I think anyone who has passions, frankly any kind, knows exactly what you are feeling. And while I can't speak for every one of your audience, I know your words consistently leave an impact on me for the better. Inspired me to follow my passions and ideas more deeply. Thank you for being you.

Are we allowed to ask more than one question? Because I also have to ask:

Is there an entry or mechanic or story element in the kingdom hearts games you liked at first but later soured on? Or vice versa?

If Kingdom Hearts leaned harder on having more Final Fantasy characters, bosses, mechanics and such along with Disney characters and original stuff… what would you love to see? Would you even want more FF stuff in this crossover series?
