I wrote about how I only ever want to read novels written by humans even after our corporate overlords shove AI down our throats and destroy our communities and livelihoods and abandon us to what's left of our planet. Plus I mention a book I recently loved. newsletter.novaren.com/a-novel-only...

I really love Ghost. I came from using Wordpress before this, and Ghost is so elegant and user-friendly and so much better imo. The tech support is incredibly fast and personable too. My site uses the Casper template that is free with a Ghost Pro subscription.

There were three options that I, as the instructor, could choose for my syllabus in regard to genAI usage in my class. And I just want it clear that my choice was this:
Screenshot of text that reads:

Additional Information
The use of generative AI tools is not permitted in this class. Any use of AI tools for work in this class may be considered academic dishonesty, and thus a violation of the student Code of Conduct.

My preliminary syllabus is online so you can see what I've dreamed up for this class and get a sense of the schedule! I'm happy to answer any questions!
