Honestly, that tracks ^^' It's very much an extension of those same power dynamics, but pushed to the extreme (I own you -> My body literally has you captive; you're mine -> you will literally become a part of me, etc.)

More broadly, I'd say it's about the pred wanting and enjoying the prey, as well.

(Not to say that it's all I enjoy, but it groups a solid chunk of what I love most about this kink ^^')

I tend to enjoy the domination/teasing aspect of it most of all. When it's too much about the physical act of eating someone, it kinda loses me a bit honestly. It's at its best when it's done intentionally, either as a power play or to restrict the prey (through captivity or absorption)

My hope is that if I let myself chill out and alternate more between the two types, I'll be able to be more discerning with which characters I spend my time drawing, and give myself room to actually come up with new OCs instead of leaning on others' so much 😅

Like according to my Itaku gallery, I have only like 20 OC pieces vs nearly 50 pieces of fanart. I need to rectify this! I have some really cool characters and even cooler lore I haven't even delved into in "finished" pieces!!

Nothing wrong with fanart mind you, I just feel like I'm not giving my own characters enough love 😅 Especially since some have only like 1-2 pieces of art at most. And meanwhile Noell is just constantly getting churned in like every drawing >.>
