exactlyyyyy i hate it so much. the anthology adds such an interesting layer to ttpd standard edition too but theyre too blinded by their hate for her to see it

also cowboy carter has 27 tracks (not even a deluxe either) & u dont see this same criticism from music critics like theyre just all suffering from tayfatigue and dont wanna admit it like wdgaf what happened to professionalism

im also sick of the insinuation that a shorter album = a better album why are u as a MUSIC critic mad at a musician releasing more music that just makes no sense to me 💀 hate the trend of singers putting 10 songs on an album and calling it a day like thats an EP

LITERALLYXNDNDBEJ and “with no one around to tweet it” on the lakes like she always loves to throw a silly lyric in an excellent song it doesnt take away from the quality of the album 😭 the albums i mentioned have worse lyrics on them at least taylor being a cornball is part of her charm

LIKEEEE MAKE IT MAKE SENSE meanwhile tortured poets + anthology is some of her best work to date but they cant look past we declared charlie puth should be a bigger artist to see it. her commentary on fame & her celebrity alone on that album is so interesting its not our fault theyre stuck in 2020
