As a student nurse, I worked in an isolation ward. This was a mix of TB diarrhoea and lots of very young men dying of AIDS. It was so hard watching them fade away.

It made for a great read initially but it never had the resources to compete. I wonder if it made the Guardian sharpen it's act?

OK so you demand evidence but all you made was an assertion. Throughout history women in power have done appalling things, Mary Elizabeth 1st Quedn Anne, Catherine the Great various Medici. Its not gender it's humanity and it's lack of co.passion fir the other.
