The little tinkers have caused me a few issues, but thanks to a paddling buddy, I've got a temporary replacement until I pick up a Pheonix Flame later this month.

Wells had hectares of beautiful sandy beach at low tide. Danger is likely to be the last thing on your mind.
Walkers cut off by the rising tide account for half of all local lifeboat rescues.

Stunning winter sunrise paddle. Not often wind tide and sun align this well! 😍

Navigating in the dark. A useful exercise to hone skills in compass and timing work.
Made much easier with a Garmin watch set to tell you your speed! We found we were able to navigate to within a few metres of a point in total darkness.

Barton Broad is the second largest of the Norfolk Broads. Spectacular day for a late session yesterday, watching Marsh Harriers quarter the reeds, and then some night navigation training session illuminated by the 🌟

Wells on the coast for a SUP along this gorgeous beach. Miles of sand at low tide that can catch the unaware out. Read the warning signs and be aware of the channels and gullies filling up behind you. Don't get cut off!
