I think taking a stand on principle when you actually have something to lose is powerful in its own right.
Especially when any deal with this administration is likely to be subject to change without notice depending on the presidents current mood.

I don’t expect the prime minister to antangonize the president and there is no perfect response.
I think Id value carney speaking plainly with trump over going along to get along. We’re sovereign and we should act like it, even if we face economic consequences for it.

Moral cowardice in the face of economic hardship isn’t a great look for the country.
We can brush this off as the smart economics but let’s not pretend to give a fuck about liberal democracy when we completely abandon our principles to appease the leader of an objectively fascist movement.

Don’t think that’s a vent. Maybe a return but doubt it. Main space has a ptac unit at table level beside a door which makes me believe the entire murder shed is unvented to avoid screams travelling through the air ducts.
