You’ve got to celebrate the wins. This afternoon my teen son came home from his mates in time to cook a curry for the family.
A couple of years ago he didn’t want to go to school.
It’s great to see him motivated now.
Being able to study maths at a higher level helped him rediscover his mojo

Our second storm for the day in North East Victoria. What a relief to get some rain after nearly 2 weeks where most days have reached 37-38°C. Our car broke down on the first of those days & we still haven’t got it back. It’s been tough for the kids to return to school in this extreme heat

My life as a frequent flyer to an eye clinic. The joys of having vision impairment caused by a rare serious eye disease.
At least my clinic is not too far away in the neighbouring town and my parents are always happy to drive me - a few things to be grateful for in a regional community!
