This reporter helped expose the falsity of ICE's narrative on the fatal shooting of Silverio Villegas Gonzalez. His work is a perfect example of why we don't have secret police.

The Marines and National Guard shouldn't be deployed to protests in LA, Texas or anywhere else.

But since they are, we led a letter from press freedom groups explaining the basics of journalists' rights when covering demonstrations, and offering our help.
