I’ve not had any problems yet but they have introduced a new fixed intelligent go which has a better daytime rate but costs £25 to exit.
Maybe they will clamp down on it but would it really make sense to frustrate their biggest advocates?

You can switch between agile and go, it’s instant and happens from the midnight before you initiate the switch. Then keep an eye on agile and switch back when it’s good

What a shame that Wes clung onto his seat

10. In the meantime, a plant-based diet requires much less land and produces far less harm than the average, animal-heavy diet.

Yeah we’ve had the rough for a few months with very little smooth! What a shame. Maybe I’ll be back one day. It’s nice not to have the mental burden of it any more though. There is a cost to that too.

There seemed to be a big step about 6 months ago? When the off peak prices went from ~15p to ~24p, even though I didn’t change tariff. It’s just made it unviable, especially when prices are bad generally.

Sadly, agile is now consistently more expensive and has been since November. So now I’m on intelligent go, and unfortunately for the grid, environment and octopus, that means using power during the peak period. Agile needs to be more appealing.

I’d like this too!

Was givtcp easy to set up? I think when I tried it couldn’t discover my inverter.

I’ve got a givenergy inverter and EV charger, and I’m on octopus agile. I’ve also got a pi running homeassistant. But when I looked into setting it up in HA it looked too much effort. Currently I just use GE scheduling and wrote my own EV price scheduler in python.

Sounds good, what home assistant plugins are you using?

Looking windy midweek - is it likely to be cheaper than tonight?
