still not sure if I'll be posting here much any more. getting rebuffed for clarifying my boundaries has really soured my opinion of this place, and I kinda feel like I shouldn't bother sharing anything if I'm not given even the most basic respect

now mark my words *very* carefully here, because I know this is a touchy subject: I do believe there has to be consent from all involved parties at *some point* along the chain, and just as importantly: said parties have to *be able* to consent

there's a gulf of a difference between me saying "hey dragonkind are all adults and they take consent seriously" and "I think anyone drawing agereg or noncon is a terrible person", namely that I don't fucking think the latter at all. it weirds me out, but I'm not a fuckin cop, do your thing

I'm taking a break, and it's not likely to be a short one. Rejection sensitivity's already bad enough without people going out of their way to misinterpret my words in the worst possible way

that's... not how I meant it, but I don't have the energy or probably even the vocabulary to rephrase it, and every discussion I've ever seen around this play out has ended in disaster for everyone involved
