PERSONALLY I think they're a great way to trial run if you'll like wearing for an extended period of time before eventually moving onto a metal cage, which imo is sort of the golden standard for long term wear. Resin and other bio safe plastics are ok, but nothing is as comfy as metal.

They're decent. Biggest issue is that the finish may not be 100% super smooth. Idk if I'd recommend them for long long term, but for medium use (lets say a few days or weeks at a time), they do just fine. Their smoother finish pieces are much better for longer use tho.

(Note I'm not an expert I just worked as a dental tech for a lil bit and learned a bit there. Clove oil is also just going to be temporary but it's one of the safer ones to reapply for a bit.)

Clove oil is usually pretty good, though for an abscess you definitely want to make sure she gets that checked out asap, and see if there's a local free clinic to at least get some oral antibiotics or antibacterial mouthwash. They can end up causing some rough infections.

The maw barely opens up enough to fit a mini fan or a straw let alone anything bigger, and yeah the foam is stiff 😔
might mess around with an idea for next suit and use a lil layer of polyfill to add cushioning....
