Don’t judge me by my behavior.

It’s my actions that define who I am.
Computers are made of metal, but hammers are made of metal too.

So it’s not the metal that allows you to access the internet.

It’s something else entirely

Want some good news about the economy?

If history is any indicator, we can predict that sometime after the stock market crashes, alcohol will be legalized.

The average age of a person who wears diapers is approximately 25 years old.

That’s why medians are important.

TV is a better storytelling medium than movies.

Sopranos and LOST show it is better for character development.

Game of Thrones and The Expanse show it is better for world building.

Severance and Mr. Robot show it is better for twists and mystery.

I won’t be taking questions.

There is an ancient curse that is more or less:

“May you live in interesting times”.

Are “interesting times” always bad for those that live through them?

A parable is a short story meant to impart a particular moral or spiritual message.

"Soldiers Win Wars" is a parable that falls under the "one offs" banner within Seven World Tales.

I swear I can’t remember anything that happened to me this week. The last thing I remember is watching severance last Thursday night.

Agree or disagree:

For any person and any belief or set of beliefs they hold, there is SOME combinations of words or images/graphs they could see, and if it came from the *right person* they would change their mind.

So trump just uses the same toilet joe Biden was using until last month? Seems like a weirdly personal thing to share.

Like what how much time between Joe’s last poop in the White House master bathroom, and Trump’s first back in office?

These are the important issues people.

Really not sure where the line between “cultural tradition” and “ancient propaganda” is. Can someone help me find it?

What weapon killed the most people in human history?

Most sources I have looked into say it’s the spear. And that sounds right. I’m sure the assault rifle is well on its way to catching up.

I’m ready to hear counter arguments to the spear though. Shoot!

British people always saying “bugger this, bugger that”

Why don’t you bug a dentist into treating your messed up teeth, innit?

Dogs are cops. Cats are spies.

I wont explain further and shouldn’t have to.

Y’know, a giant wooden horse makes a really great gift, if it isn’t filled with soldiers who open the gates and let an enemy army into your city.

Watching severance season 2, I remember I had a funny way of pitching the show:

Dystopian “the office”.

But I also recall saying “it’s like the office crossed with…” and I can’t remember what other TV show I put there.

Lost? Not really but sort of.

Black mirror? Closer.

Suggestions?

Is there a slur that is more funny and less taken seriously than “frog” to denote someone of French nationality?

Crazy idea:

I’ve been informed that Alzheimer’s and dementia patients can often perfectly recount the lyrics of songs they learned when they were younger.

I’m going to write a long ballad that recounts my life, and commit it to memory.

If history has taught us anything it’s that the steppe horse archer was the most advanced combat and logistics system for hundreds of years.

Over the course of TV history, there have been multiple well-grounded historic period pieces that feature mainly real people and closely follow history’s actual events.

In a very real way, these shows are all part of a single extended universe.

If I’m on a space ship traveling 1 MPH less than the speed of light, and I fire a gun In the direction the ship is traveling, how fast does the bullet go?

As much as we accept this stuff today, it makes sense that people thought Einstein was crazy.
