I didn’t go out of my way to find it. Logged on to Bluesky for the first time in a while and was looking for our fan’s posts to see who’s active. Just so happen to saw yours. Wasn’t picking a fight either, I was commenting. I didn’t insult you, your team, or anything like that.

I’d bet they wouldn’t be but I’d also bet you’d have to make a true neutral party do it because no hockey fan is ever going to be unbiased either way lol.

“Plenty of evidence”

There really isn’t. The Panthers get hate because they won the cup twice. Rough play coming from competitive teams has been a thing for a while. It’s how Tampa won back to back. I am sorry for Jarvis. It was a trip. But that happens every game, this time it had a bad outcome.

Hey he’s got one tonight! Maybe he won’t be as snake bitten as last year.

Glad I’m just at the game lol. So much nicer to be at the game than having to watch a national broadcast.

That goes for any team/matchup.

So a team like San Jose in the NHL could just say “well we’re not making the playoffs this year, let’s just go for draft points” and declare themselves ineligible right from the start but still have something to play for.

I think in a league with 30 (or 32) teams it’d be better to allow teams to just declare themselves out of playoff contention whenever they want during the season.

They’d automatically be ineligible for playoff contention and can start earning draft points instead without tanking.

Good.

These guys are going to go back to playing with each other in a couple of weeks, and it'll be like the fights never happened. Players get traded to other teams all the team and have to play with players that they once fought. It's never usually a problem.

As a long time fan of the NHL, these fights were pretty run-of-the-mill as far as fights go. There has always been a lot of rivalry between the US and Canadian team. I'm not saying politics had nothing to do with them this time, but many of these players are solid teammates on their NHL teams.

The timing was set before the election. The team is there because they play Washington tonight.

The thing is its been a standard tradition for the championship team (if American) to visit the White House since the 90s.

To not do a trip would be perceived as political itself. As much as I hate him, it’s better to just carry on the tradition in this case.

Even more than that.

Your use of commas is confusing! Off to grammar jail for you.

As long as Sherman owns the team the Marlins will not be fine.
