I would also add kind and docker-desktop kubernetes, to the list of tools that are easy to run kubernetes clusters locally!

Hello, we have been using ECS at work, it is very reliable. But my biggest painpoint is that you have to wire eveything by hand which means a lot of terraform. Load balancer, cloudwatch alerts, dns etc. In contrast in Kubernetes the cloud-controller creates the load balancer for you.

Wow, loved it ❤️! Especially because we have the tendency in the infrastructure world to over-complicate things. And here you are killing it with a 4$ digitalocean droplet.

Go 1.25 fixes that, it will default to the to cpu bandwith of the cgroup containing the process, meaning will configure the GOMAXPROCS correctly for an app running in a container in kubernetes.

I would agree that it is highly valuable for coding and boilerplate code. Give it a json and it generates the classes or structs that map to this json.
