I mean this as gently as possible, but the internet was never good, you were just younger and less aware because the bad stuff wasn’t as public as it is now. I find a lot of people our age have a very specific remembrance of the internet that ignores everything outside our experiences.

I miss you too. I just had to accept I will probably never have a following on social media and since people wanting commissions has dropped to 1 a month if I’m lucky, wasting my already limited energy on how bad it makes me feel wasn’t worth it anymore.
