Developing countries lead the historic clean energy charge but the US and EU rely more on fossil fuels than before, a think tank study shows.

The Pentagon is downgrading a significant 4-star Air Force position, making the commander of U.S. Air Forces in Europe, who is also head of NATO Allied Air Command, a 3-star job, effectively demoting the U.S. commander below his or her NATO counterparts. www.airandspaceforces.com/usafe-nato-a...

2/3 Although required by law to provide cost growth notifications to Congress, NNSA has not developed an effective process to consistently provide notifications of reportable cost growth. A lack of written NNSA guidance has led to missing or deficient root cause assessments.

The secretary of war, who thinks he’s a warrior, wants fit men and war preparation. And the president, who thinks he’s CEO of the United States Inc., says he wants military to go to war against American cities. Welcome to the Trump regime. 🤪 www.war.gov/Multimedia/V...

With a Congress paralyzed by hyper-partisanship and a White House that can’t govern and has crippled agencies, a government shutdown Wednesday sounds less dramatic; our government has essentially already been shut down. www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...
Government shutdown set to begin overnight as Congress hits impasse
Government funding will run out at the end of the day, and lawmakers do not have a bipartisan solution.

Energy Secretary Chris Wright on Fox: "We're announcing today expanded programs to help the American coal industry. We're helping it because for years it has been under assault. It was out of fashion with the chardonnay set in San Francisco, Boulder, and NYC ... coal just makes the world go round."

A closer reading indicates article is referring to a standoff weapon, which indeed would be too big to fit inside. But there’s no known plan to build a nuclear air-launched standoff missile for fighters. Perhaps they’re talking about conventional JASSM?
