Nothing nice to show for yet, but the core progression part of the design doc is done, lots of ideas are floating around and I've gotten over "blank page syndrome" and set up the game.
Tomorrow I'll try making some blocks move.

We decided to participate in this year's #NagaDemon
which is like a month long game jam.

Our idea is to make a game based on the glitch city in Pokemon. I remember how scared I was and we want to recapture the creepy fascination in a short puzzle game.

TyTy scoots along carrying a 1000-sandwich tower. Sadly, she doesn't see a small stone in her path, and expertly trips on it. As the sandwiches go flying, TyTy's face is one of cat-themed shock, confusion, and disbelief. The camera zooms in on TyTy's inconsolable visage as the background fades to black. A sad piano begins to play. Text appears that reads "They ask you how you are, and you have to say that you're fine, but you're not really fine, but you just can't get into it because they would never understand"

"If I could draw/compose/code, I'd totally make good art"
The human artist is just a bot that dispenses the piece. It's not about the *conversation*.

Kinu Nishimura and Tsukasa Kotobuki say that some clients no longer simply give verbal instructions or a rough sketch when ordering an illustration, but now provide an AI-generated image, which stifles artists' creativity by limiting their scope for interpretation.

I might also try to add a third mode that's just classic with smaller tower, for people that like their tower climbing more narrow.
