Bless you for using Wayland with Wine. I want to use it since it has great scaling on hi-dpi displays, but like this it causes odd issues like the apps in Wine don't quite know where my mouse cursor is.

tl;dr: It'd be very difficult for pixiv to expand their alternative payment system outside of Japan.

The pixiv alternate payment system will only exist in Japan.

For the US, they'd need to either approach STAR and maintain a US presence, or operate internationally by partnering with PLUS or Cirrus, which are owned by VISA and MasterCard, respectively.
