That's a ridiculous thing to think, it's an awards show and people vocally loved the game-- There's nothing "Shifty" about it and you're not just implicating them, but the entire awards show and those involved too when you do that.

As someone who's played Dragoon -- that's a lie/oversimplification, they definitely don't play the exact same, and besides that games are more than Just their combat mechanics lol.

Well that's part of what I mean by there's not much to discuss and it felt a little ingenuine of a question-- You feel how you feel, (justifiably!) and thus any discussion kind of just... Inherently can't matter. It's immediately a heated, toxic, volitile topic. It's challenging.

...And as much as I want to have these discussions, it's very scary and hard for me as someone with anxiety and depression whose conversational treatment can sometimes send my mental state spiraling; I just wish I could be treated at very lesast as non-hostile in these convos 😭.
