Have they gotten more elaborate? I played what I think was the first one of those, and while it was fun enough it also very much felt like the first one of those.

Yeah I don't know that's why I think them continuing to cover any Star Wars is a bit silly if they are taking part in this boycott. They did mention the boycott is somehow focused specifically on Disney+ but I wasn't able to find anything like that, the BDS site mentions Disney as a whole.

How am I incorrect? Go check the game's page on Steam and you'll see the publishers are LucasArts (Disney) & Aspyr. Publisher is who gets the money from sales.

Just seems like an oversight on their part. The money from buying this game surely goes to Disney rather than Microsoft.

Kotor 2 is not published by a Microsoft owned studio, it's published by LucasArts & Aspyr. Obsidian was the original developer but even that work has been taken over by Aspyr for the recent(ish) Switch port, Steam updates etc.

What does Kotor 2 have to do with supporting Microsoft?
