I don't know what it is about certain people who can't recognize AI-- but there's an inherent *quality* of AI art that is instantly recognizable. Also, the baby-faced women.

This has happened with art on my main account too-- I've had an online footprint since 2005, and the pieces accused of it were made before AI got to where it is now, lmao.

The other point to be made here-- IF I was using AI, I'd likely be bragging that I was using it. That's how they are. They shit on artists, they go out of their way to say it'll be a replacement for us, etc.

If you cannot train yourself to differentiate AI "art" from art, and If you accuse an artist of it without solid, well-thought out proof, you are going to embarrass yourself.

I don't even know how to use AI. In addition to everything else, the "process" seems incredibly finicky and inefficient.

Do not feel any shame using references-- places like Sketchfab or apps like Google sketchup provide really useful reference material for environments and objects from any angle you'd need!

Learning perspective properly *does* help, but a lot of the time, even pros are just winging it, haha.
