#India: RSF is concerned by the arrest of Cross Current journalist Dilwar Hussain Majumder in Guwahati yesterday. He was stopped after trying to interview the director of APEX Bank about a fraud case & no official reason has been given for his arrest. He should not be detained for doing his job.

#India : Majid Hyderi released on 23 February after a year and a half in prison under the anti-terrorist law, the PSA. The High Court ruled that criticism of the government was not a valid reason for preventive detention. RSF welcomes this decision and calls for the PSA law to be repealed.
