Almost passed out at work today. NP was right there when it happened. My BP was 70/40. So maybe that’s why I keep trying to pass out.

Last night living in Virginia. I’ve got the car halfway packed and have to finish it up tomorrow. Got my meds all filled today until I can find a pharmacy and doc up there. I start my new job on Monday. I’m still excited, but the sadness is also setting in.

So until I find us a place to live in Pittsburgh, I’m living with my son and DIL and granddaughter. They fixed me up a great space in their basement. The best part though, my DIL and I can just sit here and be so much alike.

For nurses week, I got suspended. 2 weeks after that they decided to fire me. BA reason, but whatever. Found a new job. Except now I’m moving from rural VA to Pittsburgh. I’m already up here. Hubs will follow in a month or so

What did I get for nurses week? I got freaking suspended bc of a BS allegation made against me by a coworker. But he’ll, At least I’m getting over a week off paid even if I didn’t get to participate in 80’s day or crazy sick day.

This was such a long weekend at work. Worked 28 out of 36 hours.

Discharge summaries are getting ridiculous. Once upon a time, you could get lots of pertinent information such as specific wound care and follow up appointments. Now the ones we get are generic and really tell you nothing and d/c meds are a mess.

My father has done a lot to help me over the years. But I’m about to have to cut all contact with him. Comment from my father who not only receive SS, but has Medicare and state benefits after being a nurse for the state for 20 years.

Woke up at 0100 yesterday morning to the worst stomach cramps. Was up and down every 10 min. Finally fell asleep for an hour and woke up with the same cramps. Before I made it to the bathroom, I projectile vomited. Have a bad case of gastroenteritis. 36 hours later and I still don’t want food
