Panelled comic of two characters, Palabran and Eschatos. P1-2: Pala is grimacing in pain as his wound is being cleaned out. His expression clears once it stops. Es says "OK..." P3: Es looks down over the edge of the bathtub. "Sages, you poor little thing. I'm sorry. It's over now." P4: Es picks up Palabran and he has an expression of betrayal on his face. P5: Es holds him up gently and makes a sort of silly regretful face. "I wonder if you can understand what I'm saying," Es says. "That would be a bit embarassing..." P6: Es dries Pala off with a towel. "I hope it won't hold a grudge", Es thinks. "That definitely hurt a lot." P7-8: Closeup of Pala's teeth. Es looks nervous. "Thanks for not biting me though." P9: Es takes Pala to a different room and lays him down on a couch. "I don't want to lock you up in anything," Es says. "You don't seem like you plan on moving very far. This is better than pillows on my bedroom floor." P10: Es walks away, and Pala props himself up slightly to keep his eyes on them. P11-12: Es stands in the doorway. "Don't go anywhere." They walk out of view. P13: Palabran lies back down with a huff. P14: He looks up at the ceiling, his eyes droop tiredly. He thinks, "At least I'm somewhere different." P15: Pala, falling asleep, thinks to himself, "they told me they wouldn't hurt me... I'm not sure how much I care anymore." P16: Some period of time later, he wakes up to Es leaning over him. "Hey little wayne" they say. P17: Palabran looks at them without turning his head very much. Es is holding a cookie out to him. P18: Es dips their head apologetically. "I'm still sorry. I know this won't make up for it."
