It's fun at the start but MY GOD the end..

I still really liked the game, and consider it a hidden little gem for the ps1, but I'm very much looking forward to AC2 and the other sequels because they seem a lot more up my alley (Probably won't play the two AC1 spinoffs anytime soon however)

The game also overstays it's welcome a bit, I bought every part I could possibly want about halfway through the game and it was a snoozefest afterwards, there's about 40 missions, and I feel if it stopped at 30 it would have been the perfect amount, it's a surprisingly dense game.

Is not fun. On top of that the final boss was a joke too, at first he's way too fast to actually lock on to and the arena was vertical jank, but I was so tanky during it, the boss just killed himself with his own explosions when I didn't shoot at him even a single time.

But yeah you're still able to choose a faction to fight for and it does change the game a *little* bit (mostly just what missions you get).

The final mission was a bizarre joke
I mentioned this in a different post, but 3D platforming with tank controls with turrets that knock you off the platforms-

5. Armored Core 1
I was rather pleasantly surprised at how much this game holds up
It's not a masterpiece, but the general fundamentals of the series are all here and work pretty well, and I really like that it's way more unforgiving that AC6 with you being able to permanently fail missions

I liked the weapon upgrading, but hated how much time it took to actually do all of it
The dungeons aside from visuals were way too simple and boring
Tifa's Starshower move is hype as fuck
The game feels very linear, but still somewhat unfocused, still solid overall though

4. FF7 Remake
I'm in a weird position with this where I feel like it was too bloated, but also wish I had more time with the characters, thankfully I don't gotta worry about that second part for a while
Loved Barret and Aerith
Was wishing the game was over during the hojo lab section

THAT'S when devs are having a laugh at your expense, or at least it's just cruel and unusual punishment, one of those two options for sure.
