Let's make this the year that we turn the tide & make a better future.

Together, we'll follow in the footsteps of the freedom fighters to create a country that finally rights longstanding wrongs & lives up to its ideals of freedom and equality for all, no matter our races, backgrounds, or genders.

This July 4th, the US turns 250.

Trump's 250th is a Whitewashed 250th, erasing Black, Brown, and indigenous people from US history.

We are calling on people of conscience to boycott Trump's anti-American, whitewashed 250th and instead, embrace our whole history:

Black History is a responsibility.

The failure to fully reckon with the legacies of enslavement have led to MAGA & persistent racial inequality today.

Our abolitionist & civil rights ancestors made history fighting for equality and winning freedom for past generations, but their work is not over.

At a time when the regime in power is actively erasing the truth of the Black American experience from our parks, museums, and libraries, it’s on us to take the baton from our ancestors and add winning reparations to the beautiful tapestry of Black history within our lifetimes.

Black History is a blueprint.

When abolitionists ended many forms of enslavement, they won amendments like birthright citizenship that formed the foundation for equality in our country.

Meanwhile, the Nazis specifically modeled laws to discriminate against Jews after the Jim Crow legal system.

Black History is being made every day.

Just last week, Sinners, an unapologetically Black movie that shines a light on both the horrors of Jim Crow and Black joy in the face of oppression made history by becoming the most Oscar nominated movie of all time.

You can’t teach our full history without Black History

The history of Black Americans reveals both the triumphs of our ancestors AND the historic harms our country has yet to fully reckon with and the triumphs of our ancestors.

The MAGA regime wants to whitewash all of it to control our future.

We proudly endorse this resolution to protect the 14th amendment to ensure that this country lives up to its ideals of protecting the equality & freedom of all of its people.

We cannot let this regime attack birthright citizenship, won by our abolitionist ancestors.
