Working with this person has been so difficult. Anytime I have to collaborate with them, its a nightmare. This can't be it.

Then the ones always leaving you out of hangouts, never inviting you out, withholding information of opportunities despite always trying to put them on and looking out for their best interests. I have made peace with the fact that I will always be the giver in friendships.

I find it disheartening how the majority of the people I consider friends never contact me just to "check up" on me/ ask how I am doing. They only contact me just to ask me for monetary favours. The ones that don't ask outright, wait a few days after first contact and boom! Like clockwork.

Having high self-awareness has been a major obstacle for me in forging new friendships and relationships. Sometimes, I wish I still had some modicum of naïveté.
