This has been a tough week as a history teacher. Covering the rise of fascism in Europe in the 1920s and 30s; covering the Holocaust, covering Japanese internment.. everything in me wants to almost scream at my students, “can’t you see??? It’s repeating here!!!” Hard to not get very depressed
