When internally misplaced people began to return to their homes she was able to research the underrepresentation of women, and she was able to prepare women in youth for the upcoming elections in 2015. 50% of them won, and now sit actively in the legislation, planning, and budgeting.

In 2009, nearby districts had an influx of internally displaced persons, during this time, Shad took care of 10,000 women and children in camps by starting 4 Mother Child healthcare units.

In 2007, the Taliban rose to kill innocent people, local leaders were threatened and targeted, even Shad had to leave to the Capital of her province. She persisted through the struggle, through the threats of death, despite her family's advice.

Men told her and elected women to buy sowing machines for women, she prioritized the real challenges that women face. She set up two hand pumps in dried up wells and supplied water to 5000 people. Soon after the women of the council joined the men in the legislation.

A family in her community gave a daughter away for a crime that her brother committed, and Shad couldn't help her through the brutality. She became motivated to run for public office; she won, and unfortunately the women in council were not allowed to sit with the rest of the council.

Her father told her to stay home when she was 16 years old, she wasn't involved anymore and most of her family agreed with her father's decision. It took two years but finally her family agreed with her, that she should rejoin with women and girls to solve their problems. When women show up ...

Growing up she was close to her father, a pharmacy dr who sent her to school, after her lessons everyday, she went to his clinic. he leads well fair public gatherings.
