Last week, two homeowners in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom received help from the New Hope Episcopal Area Joint Cabinet Volunteers-in-Mission. Earlier this year, “A Call to Build” lifted one of the homes to rebuild its foundation. Thanks to the dedication of our mission team we made great progress.

Vermont may not seem like a disaster hotspot, but ongoing flood damage—estimated in the billions—proves otherwise. A $400,000 UMCOR grant has powered early relief efforts by New England UMC, with support from UMC Mission Central, NOMADS, and local churches, including our #NYACFamily.
