Fwiw, I find that airplane based wifi won't often connect if you are using a VPN. I turn it off and the magic happens..

Like technically the Southwest pilots didn't follow instructions...should they have their licenses pulled?!?!?

Keep in mind there seems to be some commitment by Amtrak to serve Ronkonkoma in the intermediate future as well. This would I assume add to the schedule frequency and add to the viability of ISP as a meaningful alternative airport.

FWIW: I've been using air based heat pumps for the last 3 years in my home in NYC rather than the (still in the house) natural gas based steam boiler. I'm saving money in the winter...and I no longer have to store, carry upstairs and install window A/Cs in the summer. It's a win/win.

Here in NYC ConEd provides a $0.10 per kw rebate if you set your charging time between midnight and 8am. They also provide something like a $50 rebate after the summer season if you avoid charging between the 6pm and 9pm peak. You may want to see if your utility offers a similar program.

SInce when did AA start using the same numbers with different ending letters within a sequence for registrations? A quick search of flightradar.com shows at least 3 other aircraft with the N315** registration at AA or regional: N315RJ; N315SD; N315NH...737Max8 (2), E175 (1).

Seth...two apps to install to help find chargers and to plan trips: Plugshare to find stations and A Better Route Planner for trip planning. I successfully made it to and from Alaska from NY with those two apps.

If I'm not mistaken there is a subway stop right outside the Novotel that will take you directly to the airport...so no shuttle schedule required. Enjoy Taipei.

FWIW, I have 3 air sourced heat pumps in a ~1500 sq ft attached home in Queens. I've had them for 3 years. They work fine and are pretty quiet. I've only use the boiler once per year to keep the parts working. ConEd provided a good rebate. Utility costs are down vs gas heating.
