There is a great scene in the film “Eight Men Out” of this sort of baseball call recreation for a room of wealthy sports fans (and crooks) during the Black Socks series — a guy at the front of the room read off the telegraph updates (obviously with no pretense of watching the game).

Pretty cool that he brought his dad’s 1950s UNC sweatshirt. Didn’t strike me as the sentimental type.

Seems incredibly unlikely and as noted in the prior comment would require a crazy NIL pile and hiring a GM to run it. So guessing not.
