Yes, this imo is the right frame for thinking about this. What’s at stake in the conflict between Trump and the Fed is not the value of central bank independence, but the value of independent agencies in general.
New in @vox.com: The Supreme Court is trying to let Trump centralize economic policymaking with the one exception of central banking.
