My #mac TimeMachine backups on #synology keep getting corrupted and I have to erase and start again. One of these days this is going to bite me... any recommendations? #SuperDuper and #DiskWarrior come up occasionally but I don't really have a mental model of how they would work

Forgot to mention that if you self host any version control software with a web interface you probably want to make it undiscoverable or private otherwise scrapers will be going through each and every commit on each and every file constantly
Archive.org is great for blogs and docs but it it can be a real pain if the code they link to is gone
I've been self-hosting #gitea and now #forgejo for 5+ years, mostly for the ability to make auto-updating mirrors of any repos I want to ensure remain available.
