I even think dA's backend is starting to break. Some of these images only half-load, either their backend is having problems reprocessing or the ai bots uploading the stuff is breaking the uploads. Maybe rate throttling.

The economics of hosting AI content like this is so terrible. Never mind the ai use itself. Just allow users to post 1000s of high-res images for free only for 3rd party AI's to slurp it all in costing them untold amounts in bandwidth.

Just about all of these accounts are uploading the images in -very large- resolutions. Even with shit jpg compression they're floating in the 700Kb-3mb range. No doubt external/3rd party AI is scraping all this shit.

So the question is, how much is this costing dA? It's got to be a hilarious amount

As I was poking around the gallery the submissions were actively paginating deeper, like hitting 'browse' on FA's front page and seeing subs actively being posted.

Slop was being actively added to that specific account at several images a minute.

Looking at one account, they've been on the site for ~year. Has 12500 uploads. "Not AI art"
