Anyways I have so many more questions and I feel like there's a missed opportunity here that creatives should explore.

Are some (other) EVE probes going to different planets trying to find one to sustain life? Or was it just hiding out in that sci fi cloud to mask itself from ETs? Like auto knew he couldn't face another intelligent species so his plan was to go ghost and just wander space for eternity?

My guess is auto choses them and he chooses who would be the easiest to control.

So you can assume they aren't going to university and experimenting and making inventions. That's the dang robots, the only one with jobs.

And let's circle back to the captain. How the heck is he chosen? If no one has a job and there doesn't seem to be any higher education institution?

And then let's look at the difference in tech between walle and eve. walle was made by a human- I highly suspect eve was made by a robot that was made by a robot and so on and so on.

When you look at the human civilization on the axion, no one has a job. Not a single one other than the captain.

Cause like let's bffr, auto was a dictator. He controlled everything. He was a shadow government. If he didn't want to serve the humans anymore, they wouldn't be there. He needed them for control over his robot empire.

Back to auto, clearly the one in charge, throughout the years did he influenced the captains and humans to have a more seditary lifestyle to make them easier to control?

I fear there's a robot hierarchy that depends on servitude to humans in order to keep the lower robots in line.

Also the CEO was def going on another ship (assuming something like the axion) in his secret message to auto. Which begs the question: are there more than one of these axion ships and how many and do they communicate with each other? Do they visit each other, or used to?

They should have a movie collection that goes chronologically backwards and every movie they go back in time becomes a little more mature, a little darker to emphasize how dark history gets the further you go back
