Recently a coyote was following me behind a tree line but since I was walking Nye, I think it was trying to hide from us more than harm us.
While we were walking Nye would randomly stop and stare right at where the coyote seemed to be and let out a little growl and then keep moving.

When I was in Austria we went to an owl/falconry thing at a castle. It was phenomenal and we got so close to the birds.
Somehow my Dad offended one of the owls and it dive bombed him and tried to attack him. Thankfully a handler intervened but that owl wanted to beat the shit out of my Dad.

Oh they tested for hearing loss but once that came back normal I got shit on. That Dr also didn’t believe girls could have ADHD so I was doubly fucked.

Definitely not alone! My childhood pediatrician definitely made me feel dumb as hell when I tried to talk to him about it as a teen. Got told I was lazy & unmotivated.

For me it’s def a combo of untreated ADHD & just having it in general. Even when I’ve taken ADHD meds previously it hasn’t helped with auditory retention. If I can’t read it, I won’t remember it.

I’m almost positive I have auditory processing disorder, podcasts & audiobooks are essentially in one ear and out the other. I can’t retain any information through them so I don’t bother.

Legitimately the best part of growing up in metro Detroit was the sheer amount of Arab bakeries.
A family friend is Iraqi & they always gift us the best baklava you can buy in Dearborn for Christmas. It’s half the reason my spouse loves staying at my parents for the holiday.
