#Mets 47 million for 1 year deal basically. Stearns strategy is not really working so well. Hopefully he makes some moves in the trade market. Now defense is not better. So much for run prevention

#Mets Not sure where Stearns goes now. Hopefully tries to get Buxton and Ryan. Maybe sign Suarez for 1 year. Need a right handed power bat still. Trade for Walker?? ( Yuck)

#Mets the Jeff McNeil trade was the right move . He should have been gone 3 years ago. His best asset was he could play multiple positions fairly well but his lack of run production cannot be overlooked.

#Mets but if the Mets think a platoon of Goldschmidt and McNeil at 1B is acceptable then Stearns needs to be fired immediately. Goldschmidt is washed up and McNeil should be moved asap when you acquire some outfielders

#Mets I'm not gonna go crazy about Diaz or even Pete yet( who I would have given the Baltimore contract) because he would have been the perfect right handed power bat behind Soto for 5 years. But I'll wait till see who comes in. Lots of names still out there. Skrub belli tucker suarezs buxton

#Mets fired everyone but the manager. This is where the mistake is. Bruce Bochy is out there. He wants to manage a team that is ready to win. There is no better manager in my lifetime. David Stearns who has never come close to winning anything can't see this.
