Thought it was another post on the mecha cockpit discourse

Instead of #SpotifyWrapped here are four albums out of the ones I purchased this year which I *think* I listened to the most! I think my taste in music is easy to glean from these!

I find the difference with the way I engage with music on a phone player vs streaming kinda similar to the difference between full-form videos/movies vs Tiktok/YouTube shorts; the former feels way more mindful and engaging to me.

In 2024 I purchased a vinyl record player; I also will probably get a CD player at some point. For my outdoor listening I switched back to torrenting MP3/flac and uploading them to my phone (I don't plan to purchase a dedicated portable player device at the time).
