@wmata.com What the hell happened at Virginia Square? My train bypassed it despite the fact there were people on the platform and another operator keyed inside before it got moving. The operator announced something but was too quiet.

@wmata.com There are severe schedule adherence issues on the NB A76 right now. Bus 3193, which was supposed to serve NOVA Alexandria at 4:58, did not serve it until 5:12.

On bus 2973 on the EB A58, someone in a wheelchair was watching a movie on their phone through what was obviously an external loudspeaker. It sounded way too loud and clear to just be their phone’s speaker.

@wmata.com Based on real-time data, bus 4682 on the WB F50 was stopped at Route 29 and Espana Court for at least 10 minutes. I was going to take it from Vienna given all the CUE buses were 10-20 minutes late, but two CUE buses ended up coming first.

@wmata.com This may be Fairfax County’s job, but the pole for the removed stop at 3404 Carlin Springs Road needs to be removed immediately and drivers need to be instructed to decline courtesy stop requests. Someone on the A76 requested a courtesy stop there, and at least 6 people got off.

[1/3] California Pizza Kitchen has gone so far downhill that it’s not even funny, and I and my family will never return after my experience tonight.
Not only was the quality of the food noticeably lower, but when I asked for chicken on the pizza, I got chicken nuggets. That was already strange.

While it is Wednesday, I observed that @wmata.com was not affected too hard by the government shutdown today. The two trains I took today (NEB Red from Tenleytown to Metro Center, WB Silver Line from there to Ballston) still got plenty full.
