I work in a small, local history museum here in Canada, and I can say that it is actually very easy to get a job in these types of places as long as you’re halfway competent. You could make it happen!

I work at the polls, federal elections are all done entirely on paper. Theres very little chance of a technical fuck up and paperwork is just easier to track. The government has to be willing to pay for the immense amount of manual labour across 343 polling districts, I think it’s worth it
