This balatro run started off with 8 ball, dice joker, and hanging chad for what felt like INFINITE tarot cards, and eventually ended up breaking e^13 with a deck of nothing but 8’s

Funny thing is before i got the four main jokers on the left, i was looking for lucky cat the whole time

Didnt listen to as much music as last year but no surprise twenty one pilots is still my number 1

I will admit, listening to music on spotify has been terrible this year due to the way they shuffle music. It’s kept me away bc i know i’ll just hear the same stuff over and over again. Thoughts in alt
My top 5 artists, no surprise twenty one pilots is on too as theyre my ride or die band. Drake’s music is still good, and there’s lots of it. I cannot stop listening to FOB, im so glad i moved away from PATD and leaned more into the former. Gorillaz. Wished i listened to them more this year but for some reason spotify’s shuffle just hated serving me their music. I really wish Of Monsters and Men made more music :( It’s funny Next Semester is number 1 bc when it first came out I didnt think it was that good. It grew on me so damn fast and just resonated with me with its high energy and messaging. The opposite can be said about Overcompensate. I listened to it so many times at the beginning mainly bc it was new twenty one pilots music and was such a great breath of fresh air after scaled and icy. If i had to choose, I feel like this spot should’ve been taken by either Routines in the Night, Midwest Indigo, or Lavish (all from Clancy) but AGAIN spotify’s shuffle system just did not want me listening to those tracks. Vignette kept me in its claws ever since i first heard it. The sort of story it tells of a man succumbing to an addiction of some sort and the great production quality just makes me further wonder how this album didnt get nominated for a grammy. Backslide at first to me was definitely a 5/10, mid song. It’s like a 6.5/10 now. I think it’s only in my top 5 bc it was a single and i wanted to hear it as much as possible in the beginning. Navigating deserves to be in the top 5 (could even take the place of Backslide or Overcompensate) and is just explosive and exciting and i love it for the vibes it brings me. If i had to guess, my number six song would’ve also been by twenty one pilots. Specifically Ode to Sleep from Vessel :)
