You're smarter than me on this but should we talking more about how the guys behind PayPal & want Twitter to be the "everything app" ala WeChat wants govt payment systems tech access. Isn't the play Twitter as a payment processing system add in govt ss numbers etc? Not that the tech stack is ready!

True, my twitter feed was spammed by unfunny memes and engagement chasing. But I fear this platform is also fighting against bots signing up in droves... I'm not interesting enough to back up my follower count...
