It didn't need to devote extra runtime or overdo it like he isn't an adult. It could have been shown in literally ONE frame without treating it like he needs his 'boo boos' kissed or making it the main focus, it is okay it didn't end up happening but it is fair criticism...

Just randomly thought about this: in e5, when Vaggie asks Lucifer if he knows Vox, he actually says yes — which is funny, because he’s usually terrible with names.
Is it because he thinks “Vox” sounds weird, like “box” and maybe even like a duck quacking, so it stuck in his head?

Cartoon characters are just cartoon characters. We take from them what we need and want, but characters are who they are. They have their own journeys. I think sometimes people forget the point of fiction. I’ve seen people let characters dictate their life, as have I. It’s not worth it.

One thing I will say as a bts is that Lucifer's story and the story I pitched to A24 that will be unraveled in the next two seasons was a thing even during the pilot. The ONLY difference is that the pilot existed before Helluva-

that is the intent! plus she didn't know where he was, we see her run over to him and then cut away. We figured it'd be obvious she had her moment with him and saw he's ultimately fine- just drained/tired, and then shifted focus to the very VERY big deal/focus that was Pentious broadcasting lol
