I was asked what kind of game I would want to work on and my dream role on it, during an interview. I love these kinds of dream questions. I am curious what other #gamedev folks would say.

Mine was tactics, RPG, or ARPG and as the studio GM.

A thing I don't hear talked about much in #gamedev circles is how attached, immersed, and invested devs become when working on large, established IPs.

When you are no longer at those jobs, it can cause deep sadness when consuming, being exposed to, or participating in that IP and it's other media.

I've had the true luck of working for some amazing game studios. Luckiest of all was being there on Day 1 of Thought Pennies and helping it grow over three years.

Yesterday was my last day, along with many others, as our publisher decided they wanted to move in a different direction.
