Work meal prep! Mediterranean chickpea salad w/ cherry tom/mint/parsley/roasted peppers/cuke/lemon/garlic/honey/goat cheese/dates/crunchy roasted+spiced chickpeas; chia milk pudding w/ bloob/rasps/walnuts/large-flake coconut; rasp/blackberry H20; green grapes; banana; KIND bars, apple+caramel yogs!

Crazy good! Another day I did curried dal and rice, with kala jeera, onion, cilantro, butter, and jalapeño!

Really into the whole ‘sheet pan roasting’ thing lately I guess…made chicken fajitas this way for work lunches the other day, with a cilantro/lime/chipotle/cumin crema (pic of before cooking). Crazy good! Another day I did curried dal and rice, with kala jeera, onion, cilantro, butter, and jalapeño!
Not my best photography work, but I made two super amazing harissa-roasted butternut squash and red onion phyllo ‘pies’ with herb and garlic goat’s milk feta and cumin seeds, w/ lemon harissa tahini drizzle to serve, then a Victoria sponge cake with Italian strawb jam and vanilla whipped cream 💯🐴🍽️

Made some Oklahoma-style smash burgers yesterday… 👀 Smoked cheddar, brioche buns, deep fried fries tossed in seasoned salt…to die for (not a heart disease joke, either!)

Had a lazy & gross day Monday, so today I checked off every single thing on my list of tasks and errands, made a huge breakfast-for-dinner at 7pm as my one meal of the day (the liqueur is in with the berries), and even got in some van evap emissions control system repairs before it got dark! 😌

Had a great afternoon and evening with good friends playing (losing) Eldritch Horror, having some nice scotch, and making amazing sloppy joe tacos (pork/beef, corn tortillas, shredded cheeses, pickled jalapeños, hot sauce) ❤️🌮🥃🗺️🎲
I was hungry at 8pm last night, so whipped up a batch (12) of soft pretzels made with 8% Belgian dubbel beer, coarse sea salt and caraway seeds, and a dip made from 3 types of mustard and a little local honey! 🤤🥨🐴

Dryers are fun! (Not really, and mine’s basic af…Samsung…was just replacing rollers and belt and tensioner for giggles earlier this year)

Meal prep for work the other day! I’m doing 7 x 12h shifts and one 8h training day in 9 days cuz I’m crazy~ 🚑🐴 This is red lentil coconut dal with garlic, ginger, onion, tomato, warm fragrant spices, and tons of baby spinach and cilantro~ with sella basmati rice 🍽️🇮🇳🥥🌶️
