Frankly everyone is having a lend if they think this is a value for money let alone timely proposition. It will all by over by 2027 (presuming Xi’s timeline is correct), long before they would be available in the usual hyper optimistic world of defence procurement.

Agreed that the UKR is not such a situation. However the ling game has been played well, with the investments in Krasnov and other compromised assets now paying dividends.

Unfortunately recent history has been to full of folly; Vietnam and Iraq being major examples. It has, justifiably, created a hesitancy for people to be willing to die for especially where there’s doubt about the cause.
