I absolutely love my new tunic from Verallis want to dress like this everyday. Very gender. The leggings are Dark Cottage, but you can’t really see them.
This is the masc cut because it was on sale and they were out of the curvy cut in my size.

I take that slur very seriously and have been speaking out against it for decades. It’s a serious degradation of public discourse that the president used it.

It’s so far from the most offensive thing in this post that I’m not sure it makes the top 5.

As an example, hundreds of thousands of refugees from Somalia are completely taking over the once great State of Minnesota. Somalian gangs are roving the streets looking for "prey" as our wonderful people stay locked in their apartments and houses hoping against hope that they will be left alone. The seriously retarded Governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz, does nothing, either through fear, incompetence, or both, while the worst "Congressman/woman" in our Country, Ilhan Omar, always wrapped in her swaddling hijab, and who probably came into the U.S.A. illegally in that you are not allowed to marry your brother, does nothing but hatefully complain about our Country, its Constitution, and how "badly" she is treated, when her place of origin is a decadent, backward, and crime ridden nation, which is essentially not even a country for lack of Government, Military, Police, schools, etc... The phrase calling Governor Walz the r slur was highlighted in yellow on the screen shot

In my town we also have an annual parade that pretty much everyone who can participates in. Flaming torches, a band. This year the person who waves the big black flag was wearing a papier-mâché frog head. No permits, no road closures. It’s our town and we just treat it as such. It’s beautiful.

Today I finally earned my New England Day Trip merit badge.

Driving up mountains in an EV is just so much fun! I didn’t even use my brakes coming down. I do with it was a little clearer, but I’ve been up here twice before on the cog railway and it was clear those days.
Me, wearing my ever present Tilly hat, jeans jacket, and tunic that looks like a leaf, smiling broadly and holding the classic “This Car Climbed Mt Washington” bumper sticker. I’m leaning against the front end of my black Chevy Bolt. We are in the gravel parking lot on the top of Mt Washington, looking roughly southeast. Many layers of smaller mountains recede into the background, turning from green to a distant hazy blue-green. The sky is blue and filled with many white clouds.

Beth and I. My mother took her to all her many appointments during the week and we gave her all the love we could on the weekends. She had a cat named Pouncer. I bought her that Are You Doing All You Can? t-shirt as a dig at the dehumanizing workers at the increasingly crappy group home.

First daylily blossom of the year! In a different spot than normal.

For the first time ever I tried the thing on the front of cereal boxes. I bought some fresh, local strawberries like I always do. And like most years I was having trouble actually eating them because they are so extremely tart and flavorful. So I tried this. Not as amazing as whipped cream but good!

Monday evening there was a great turn out at an emergency rally to support to immigrant rights activists, one just 18, who were snatched by Border Patrol Saturday while delivering groceries to farm workers. Heartbreaking testimony from family and friends. Everyone stayed and listened for 90 minutes.
The Vermont Statehouse, a small but typical gold domed state capitol, with a tree covered hill behind it. There is a crowd of maybe 300-400 people of all ages gathered. Anti-Ice signs, papier-mâché monarch butterflies, a symbol of Mexican migrants, on poles. Strollers and bikes and dogs scattered about.
