They are odd films, they are more akin to theme park rides, stunning to experience, fleeting afterwards. Thats why they make two billion dollars, yet no one mentions them a moment after. Not a single meme.

I feel the episodes could be a lot tighter, might be Netflix forcing the creators to up the run-time so they can brag about the amount of “minutes watched”. A tight 50mins per ep would work so much better.

I also felt the show ended on a good note, but enjoyed it tremendously and was curious how the show would adapt the further novels. I quite liked some of the changes they made and it gave the show its own personality apart from the popular films.
